McGinty promised to issue a statement this week…

According to a recent Pittsburgh Post-Gazette report, "Katie McGinty, Gov. Tom Wolf’s former chief of staff, is also seeking the Democratic nomination to challenge the freshman Republican. She has not taken a position on the deal so far, but said Monday that she planned to issue a statement on it sometime this week."

Will McGinty be on the same page as liberal Congressman Joe Sestak, who has long advocated for this risky accord, even as retired military leaders from across the country pan the deal and public support among Pennsylvania voters dwindles?

While Senator Pat Toomey listens to Pennsylvanians and the American people, Katie McGinty clearly only hears partisan Democrats instructing her to "get by."

By remaining silent, running away from questions, and waiting to merely "get by" on such a crucial matter of national security, Katie McGinty continues to prove that she lacks the leadership expected of a United States Senator.
