Earlier this week, Jason Kander spokesman Abe Rakov attempted to excuse his boss’s inability to take a position on legislation to crack down on sanctuary cities:

“Even before the vote, Missouri Republicans issued press releases asking how Secretary of State Jason Kander, Blunt’s Democrat opponent, on how he would vote on the bill… Kander didn’t answer. Abe Rakov, a Kander spokesman, said that ‘Secretary Kander is focused on his job and hasn’t had an opportunity to review the legislation being debated in Washington.’”

Secretary Kander’s "focus on his job" – Rakov’s excuse for evading a position, apparently entails fundraising with DC lobbyists.
Earlier this morning, both Jason Kander and his pandering panda counterpart were spotted in Washington:

Kander hasn’t "had an opportunity to review the legislation being debated in Washington," yet he has the time to hobnob with lobbyists in Washington?

Missourians deserve better than Jason Kander, whose "focus" seems to cost $500 – $2,700.
