Bill Nelson seems to be having trouble with his memory these days, but thankfully we aren’t!

Nelson has spent a good amount of time grandstanding about procedure when it comes to the health care bill in the Senate, but Nelson is forgetting his own actions several years ago.

On December 10, 2009, the Washington Post reported that Bill Nelson had no clue what was in Obamacare.

Nelson said: “I don’t know what the deal is” and “General concepts, but nothing very specific at all.”

Just a few days later, Nelson voted for Obamacare anyway.

Bill Nelson may not remember the details, but it is clear to Floridians that his new-found integrity on procedure is really a cover for his efforts to preserve Barack Obama’s failed health care law.

“Obamacare is failing, yet Bill Nelson refuses to work towards solutions,” said Katie Martin, NRSC Communications Director. “Instead of doing what is right, Bill Nelson is continuing to stand by the failure that is Obamacare, even though doctors and health insurance companies are fleeing the state.”
