As a state senator, many parents have come to me with real life stories of how their daughters have been forced to grapple with policies that allow men in women’s sports and in their locker rooms. That’s why, on National Girls and Women in Sports Day, I feel compelled to speak out against Chris Pappas.
Chris Pappas has undermined women’s sports every chance he gets. During his time in the U.S. House, he voted against the Protection of Women and Girls in Sports Act, a decision that opened the door for biological males to compete in women’s sports. He even went a step further by helping introduce the Equality Act to expand access for men into women’s sports, locker rooms, bathrooms, shelters, and more.
Granite Staters rejected that notion, and at the state level, we enacted multiple laws protecting our female athletes.
Unfortunately, electing Pappas to the Senate would have dire consequences. It would mean fewer independent voices for New Hampshire and more automatic votes in favor of Democrats’ radical agenda.
New Hampshire deserves a Senator who stands with our families, not political extremes. We deserve leadership that prioritizes the safety and fairness our daughters and their daughters depend on. Our state needs a voice that represents us, not a rubber stamp for the Left.
I urge readers to join me in holding Chris Pappas accountable for turning his back on New Hampshire’s daughters, and this November, to make the right choice for New Hampshire.
