Early today (6/3) Jami Woodman the Political Director for Reilly Neill posted multiple tweets announcing support for the Republican nominee for Senate.

A direct counter to the campaign that she worked on.

Now, via text with Bradley Warren, Reilly Neill, has made the same announcement and posted screenshots on her personal Twitter of the text message conversation.

Kurt Alme tweeted: Our campaign is working to win support from Republicans, Democrats, and Independents. Welcome to #TeamAlme!

As a quote tweet to … this article.

They read:

“Hi Bradley. Just saw the tweets. With the research we did on my opponents, Alme certainly would have been my second choice after our own campaign’s success. Much is to be determined still in the U.S. Senate race. As our campaign has wrapped up, Jami’s opinions are her own. Thanks for reaching out.”

Neill posted “Sure. It’s laughable that I would be paid in any way by the GOP.

We faced $7 million in dark money, GOP and DEM, that dwarfed our 5,000+ individual $15 donations from largely broke Dem Montana donors. My opponent had six total donors from MT. Ask her why no one donated or knew her until two weeks ago. I’m not the shill here.

We worked our Dem asses off and we saw who else was out there doing (or not doing) the same. I’m not endorsing in this Senate race but our staff can do what they like.”

That text was attached to a photo of the conversation where she said “Alme certainly would have been my second choice after our own campaign’s success.”

In an interview with Nonstop Local, Neill said in response to a question indicating that due to the current shape of politics in Montana, based off previous elections, that people were happy with Republicans as they hold a majority across a statewide office, that “she does not hear that,” she additionally pitched the Democratic Party in that interview.

NOTUS wrote an article that “The situation is similar in Montana. More Jobs, Less Government — a Republican group that previously supported Republican Sen. Tim Sheehy — has spent more than $1 million since May on ads targeting one of the Democratic candidates, former state Rep. Reilly Neill. The spots play up her opposition to President Donald Trump and appear designed to boost her in a Democratic primary.”

More Jobs, Less Government is the Super PAC connected to Senator Steve Daines.
