Last night in Charleston, President Trump delivered a massive blow to Joe Manchin’s desperate attempts to fool West Virginians into believing he stands with the Trump agenda.

The President told West Virginians that a vote for Joe Manchin was a vote to put Democrats in control of Congress, and for their anti-coal, anti-gun and pro-sanctuary cities agenda, while a vote for Patrick Morrisey was a vote to make America great again.

MetroNews: Trump stands behind Morrisey at Charleston rally
Trump’s sixth visit to West Virginia comes as Morrisey, West Virginia’s attorney general, prepares himself for the final two months of this year’s Senate contest. Joe Manchin. “He does not stop, and he’s going to fight for you like nobody’s ever fought for the people of West Virginia,” Trump said of Morrisey.

Trump said Manchin consistently voted with Hillary Clinton and President Barack Obama. Herald Dispatch: Trump warns of Democratic congressional takeover during Charleston rally
In a speech somewhere between a political endorsement and a scorched-earth, cautionary tale of the implications of a Democratic congressional takeover, President Donald Trump visited Charleston on Tuesday to throw his weight behind Patrick Morrisey’s Senate bid. Speaking at a rally at the Charleston Civic Center, Trump announced his backing of Morrisey, who has served as West Virginias attorney general since 2012, in his run against incumbent Sen. Joe Manchin, D-W.Va. While Trump sang some praise for Morrisey, much of the speech depicted a dystopian world of Democratic control, rife with open borders, an abolished Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency, massive crime and a dissolved Second Amendment to the U.S. Constitution.

West Virginia Attorney General Patrick Morrisey, the Republican challenging incumbent Democrat Joe Manchin, accused the senator at a campaign rally in Charleston, W.Va., Tuesday night of being a shill for Washington County-based Mylan. Mr. Manchin’s daughter, Heather Bresch, is the CEO of Mylan. Mr. Morrisey has strongly criticized Mylan since 2016, when the pharmaceutical company significantly raised the price of its EpiPen.
