At last night’s rally in Evansville, President Trump delivered his message that the Trump-Pence agenda is working for Hoosiers.

The President laid out a clear contrast between Sleepin’ Joe Donnelly, an ineffective Senator who has always voted the Democratic Party line, and Mike Braun, a successful businessman who will give Trump the reinforcements he needs in Washington.

Casting the midterms as a referendum on his agenda, President Donald Trump urged Indiana voters to unseat Democratic Sen. Joe Donnelly, saying the vulnerable Democrat is “not going to vote for us on anything.” Trump, who is kicking up his campaign travel as the midterm elections near, appeared in Evansville on Thursday to boost support for wealthy Republican businessman Mike Braun, who is facing off against Donnelly in what is viewed as one of the nation’s most competitive Senate races.

Trump, who is on an aggressive campaign tour of the country ahead of the November mid-term election, labeled Democrats “obstructionists,” and that “every day they are resisting the will of the American people and trying to undermine the verdict of our Democracy delivered so strongly in 2016 like never before.”

“A vote for Mike Braun is a vote to – have you ever heard this one? – make America great again,” Trump says. Trump criticized Donnelly’s voting history, citing an Indianapolis Star story on Donnelly’s effectiveness as a senator. “We’ve replaced failed democrat lawmakers with America First republicans, and it’s happening. And we need people like Mike Braun,” Trump says.

Mr. Trump pulled out a printed article from the Indianapolis Star which described a poll where Donnelly was described as the least effective Democrat in the Senate. He read directly from the article. “If that’s what you want representing Indiana, you can have it,” Mr. Trump said, dropping the printed out article.
