In Washington State, Clear Differences Laid Bare Between Candidates as well as Patty’s Rhetoric vs. Record on Health Care

Washington, D.C. – With ballots being mailed to Washington State voters in the next ten days, veterans advocate and Republican U.S. Senate candidate Tiffany Smiley released a new digital ad asking undecided voters to visit both her and Patty Murray’s campaign websites:

Tiffany Smiley has a robust “Agenda for Recovery and Reform” on her website, outlining exactly what she’ll fight for in the Senate, while a thirty-year incumbent Democrat literally has no section on her website that outlines any issues or any agenda. How embarrassing!

It might be because Murray has only passed nine bills in 30 years and is “not known for landmark policy achievements.” Or it may be because she’s hiding her true record. For instance, while Murray is on television claiming to be a fighter for lower prescription drug costs, this digital ad from Tiffany Smiley shows that the Democrat’s health care rhetoric doesn’t match her health care record:

The tape doesn’t lie! If Patty Murray had her way, then seniors on Medicare would have no prescription drug coverage.
