Joe Donnelly really did it.
With his vote against Judge Brett Kavanaugh, Donnelly made his membership in the resistance official and abandoned all pretense of independence from the Democratic Party. And, as Donnelly made clear by his shifting excuses, his vote was all about partisanship and politics – nothing more – and he was planning on betraying President Trump and Hoosiers all along.
“Joe Donnelly ignored Hoosier voters and caved to his liberal base and Democratic Party bosses by voting against Judge Brett Kavanaugh’s confirmation,” said NRSC Spokesman Bob Salera. “With one vote, Donnelly has demolished his phony moderate act and his betrayal of Hoosiers and their values will cost him his seat in November.”
