Today, Jon Ossoff (D-GA) tried to cover up his record of betraying Georgia service members. Ossoff doesn’t stand with Georgia’s veterans and service members, he lies to them.
“Jon Ossoff does nothing but lie to Georgia’s service members and veterans. Ossoff can try hiding from his terrible record of using veterans as props, but the truth is that he will always put the radical left’s agenda above them,” said NRSC Regional Press Secretary Nick Puglia.
Ossoff tells veterans and service members one thing in Georgia but does the opposite in DC:
- Ossoff took credit for securing the most military funding for Georgia in over a decade, then voted against it.
- Ossoff lied to Georgia veterans about ‘championing’ veterans legislation signed by President Trump when he actually had nothing to do with the bill.
- Ossoff voted against funding needed to secure pay raises for Georgia’s service members, then took credit anyway.
- Ossoff voted 15 times to keep the government shut down, closing VA hotlines, hurting small businesses near military installations, leaving military families without pay and risking veterans’ healthcare.
