Today, President Trump will be in Atlanta highlighting the Trump Accounts Jon Ossoff voted to block. The accounts are giving every baby born in Georgia a chance to start saving for their future thanks to a $1,000 investment from the federal government.

“Jon Ossoff voted to raise Georgians’ taxes and block a generational investment in the future of every Georgia child all because Ossoff puts his Democrat Party loyalty first,” said NRSC Regional Press Secretary Nick Puglia.

Ossoff puts his own future before Georgia children’s future, opposing pro-family policies like Trump Accounts.

  • Trump Accounts will provide an unprecedented $1,000 investment for every baby born in Georgia, with potential to reach $300,000 by the time they turn 18.
  • More than 50 companies have already committed to contributing to the Trump Accounts of their employees’ children, investing in the next generation of American workers before they even enter the workforce.
  • Trump Accounts accept investments, including stock contributions, opening the door for American businesses and job creators to invest directly in the future of the next generation.
  • So far, more than 6 million Trump Accounts have been opened, 1.4 million of them eligible to receive the initial $1,000 seed contribution from the Working Families Tax Cuts.
  • 86% of Trump Accounts opened are linked to families earning less than $200,000 annually.
  • The Working Families Tax Cuts also increased take home pay for Georgia families by up to $10,500.
  • Trump Accounts are free to set up and available for all U.S. children with a valid Social Security Number under the age of 18 at TrumpAccounts.gov.
  • Parents can contribute up to $5,000/year, and employers up to $2,500/year.
