Jon Ossoff is still silent after left-wing antisemitic “midterm surrogate” Hasan Piker threw his backing behind Ossoff. Refusing to condemn Piker is yet another example of Ossoff’s refusal to condemn Democrats’ radical pro-Hamas base. It isn’t the first time, we’ve seen the same sort of cowardice from Ossoff time and again.
Piker’s influence is causing infighting within the Democrat Party. Unlike Ossoff, other Democrats and Senate colleagues are distancing themselves from Piker who:
- Said “it doesn’t matter if rapes f***ing happened on Oct. 7.”
- Referred to Orthodox Jews as “inbred.”
- Compared Israelis to the Ku Klux Klan.
- Said Hamas terrorists are “a thousand times better” than Israel.
- Compared liberal Zionists to “liberal Nazis.”
- Uses antisemitic dog whistles like “bloodthirsty, violent pig-dog.”
- Said America deserved 9/11.
Why won’t Ossoff condemn Piker and his antisemitic rhetoric?
Does Ossoff agree with Piker’s extreme positions?
“Jon Ossoff is once again putting Democrat’s pro-Hamas base ahead of what’s right for Georgia. Jewish Georgians deserve a Senator who will stand with them no matter what, not a coward like Ossoff who will stay silent because it’s politically expedient,” said NRSC Regional Press Secretary Nick Puglia.
