WASHINGTON, D.C. — Today marks the 14th time Jon Ossoff and Senate Democrats have rejected funding the Department of Homeland Security, forcing TSA workers to go without pay and creating chaos for travelers at the Atlanta airport.

“Jon Ossoff happily uses Georgians as political leverage to protect criminal illegals. It’s wrong and Ossoff must end his reckless DHS shutdown now,” said NRSC Regional Press Secretary Nick Puglia. 

Thanks to Ossoff’s reckless DHS shutdown:

  • Nearly 40% of TSA agents called out of work at Atlanta airport yesterday. 
  • TSA agents aren’t being paid, upending their livelihoods. 
  • Atlanta airport is in chaos with never ending security lines.
