Claire McCaskill’s coronation as darling of the liberal left has been completed after Hollywood elite Kim Kardashian tweeted her support for McCaskill’s efforts to preserve Obamacare and protect Planned Parenthood.
McCaskill seems thrilled with her new-found notoriety amongst America’s coastal elites, firing off one fundraising email after the next touting her radical friends like Kamala Harris and Elizabeth Warren. What Claire seems to have forgotten is that both Kardashian and she represent the type of ultra-wealthy liberals and out-of-touch policies that voters across America soundly rejected last election. Facing re-election in a state Donald Trump won by 19 points, it will be interesting to see if Claire continues to embrace policies that win praise from radical liberals and Hollywood stars.
“Claire’s record makes it clear she has more in common with Hollywood millionaires than folks in Missouri,” said NRSC Spokesman Michael McAdams. “Missouri voters are certainly taking note that McCaskill’s more focused on earning praise from reality stars than doing what’s best for them.”
