WASHINGTON, D.C. — This week, Socialist Zohran Mamdani will be sworn in as the Mayor of New York City by none other than Bernie Sanders. Mamdani’s successful campaign has become the blueprint for radical Democrats in messy primaries across the nation.
In New Hampshire, Karishma Manzur has embraced Mamdani in an effort to stand out in her primary against Chris Pappas. In comparison, Chuck Schumer’s hand-picked candidate Chris Pappas recently voted to condemn socialism in the House of Representatives.
“Karishma Manzur is centering her campaign against Chris Pappas around her support for Zohran Mamdani’s socialist, anti-Israel, and extremist agenda. Democrats are rallying behind Mamdani’s radical, copy-cat candidates in messy primaries across the nation,” said NRSC Regional Press Secretary Samantha Cantrell.
Karishma Manzur is in lockstep with Socialist Zohran Mamdani:
- Manzur supports universal health care.
- Manzur supports Medicare for All.
- Manzur has compared ICE’s tactics to the “practices of the old Russian KGB,” and said President Trump is “abducting innocents.”
- Manzur supports the “bodily autonomy” of transgenders and believes they should have “access to the healthcare they need.”
- Manzur is against arms transfers to America’s key ally, Israel, going so far as to accuse Israel of committing a “genocide.”
- Manzur spearheaded, and passed, a ballot initiative resolution criticizing the government for sending “over $90 million” to Israel.
- Manzur called Israel defending itself against Hamas “propaganda.”
- Manzur is a proponent of the BDS movement, calling on public officials to disclose and divest public funds from those that could be used by Israel.
