After weeks of avoiding questions, Angus King finally announced that he will join Washington liberals in their unprecedented filibuster of Judge Neil Gorsuch.

King chose to side with Chuck Schumer and Senate Democrats despite overwhelming support for Gorsuch from voters and legal experts across the political spectrum, proving that despite posing as an independent, he is just one more liberal politician in Washington.

“Maine voters are sick of partisan political games, but by joining Chuck Schumer’s filibuster of Judge Gorsuch, Angus King proved that he is just one more liberal Washington politician,” said NRSC Spokesman Bob Salera. “Angus King pretends to be above the partisan fray, but in reality, he is nothing more than a reliable vote for liberal special interests.”
