Jon Tester sure has changed since being in charge of the Senate Democrats’ campaign arm (DSCC) during the 2016 election cycle.

See, in 2013, Tester said that a government shutdown was “putting a drag on the economy” and to “knock it off.” Tester also said in 2013 that we need a “government that’s running and operating and that the lights are on.”

Now flash forward to 2018 – Tester has been in charge of electing liberals like Kamala Harris of California and Maggie Hassan of New Hampshire to the Senate and has done a total 180 on his shutdown position.

Does a Democrat shutdown not hurt our troops at Malmstrom? Can Montanans now suddenly afford a government shutdown?

Looks like someone has spent too much time with Harry Reid and Chuck Schumer in Washington and has lost touch with reality. Someone needs to ask Tester why his position is so different and he is forcing a government shutdown.
