A new report from the Senate Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations reveals yet another instance of the Obama administration lying to the public about its dealings with Iran, further calling into question Heidi Heitkamp’s judgment in trusting the administration and supporting the disastrous Iran nuclear deal.
The report shows that after implementation of the Iran Deal, Obama attempted to circumvent sanctions on the terrorist-supporting regime and give Iran access to the U.S. financial system, despite its repeated assurances that it would not do so. The effort ultimately failed because American banks refused to participate. Heitkamp repeatedly voted against disapproving of the Iran Deal, which provided billions in sanctions relief that former Secretary of State John Kerry acknowledged would fund terrorism.
Will Heidi Heitkamp finally admit she was wrong to trust the Obama administration on the Iran Deal?
