Washington, D.C. – Last night, Leora Levy was elected to be Connecticut’s Senate Republican nominee. She will take on the 40-year politician, Sen. Richard Blumenthal.
Since many don’t know what he’s been up to besides fully supporting Biden’s failed agenda (voting with him 97.7 % of the time), here’s a quick synopsis:
- He lied about serving in the Vietnam War.
- He had a billionaire blunder.
- He received a campaign contribution from a lobbyist for Vladimir Putin’s Russian Nordstream 2 oil pipeline, and then voted against putting sanctions on the pipeline.
- During his tenure as both Attorney General and as Senator, he has had many ethical challenges of a financial nature including being accused of steering $65 million in legal fees to his former law partner, blocking access to records related to his office hiring of outside counsel and violating campaign finance laws.
- He voted to send COVID relief checks to convicted murderers and terrorists, including the Boston Marathon Bomber, Dzhokhar Tsarnaev.
- He and his wife owned a total of $150,002 to $350,000 in commercial retail assets located in China. Of that, they invested $100,000 and $250,000 in a Communist Chinese government-controlled luxury shopping complex in Shanghai, China, as well as in another shopping center in Shanghai.
- He voted to give amnesty to illegal immigrants and supports giving them free in-state college tuition.
- He claims to support Black Lives Matter and equality for all, however, he once signed a restrictive covenant allowing a developer to discriminate against minorities when the developer sold his property.
- Other liberal stances he supports: Medicare for all, the Green New Deal, abolishing the filibuster, expanding the Supreme Court, weakening voter ID laws and enabling ballot harvesting.
Richard Blumenthal is a phony career politician who supports Biden’s radical agenda that is failing Americans across the country with rising inflation, skyrocketing prices at the pump and grocery stores, surging crime rates and a raging crisis at our southern border. It’s time for a change.
