Politico is out with a new report detailing just how hopeless this recount is for Bill Nelson. Notably, the article highlights that Nelson’s ridiculous lawsuits were filed last minute and the margin he trails Governor Scott by is simply too big for him to make up.
Even Nelson’s own lawyer, Marc Elias, agreed with these points. Elias previously stated that margins smaller than Nelson’s were “insurmountable” and even argued AGAINST late-filed lawsuits concerning signature mismatches.
It’s time for Bill to face reality: he lost.
