Murray Hellbent on Making Consumers Pay for Far-Left Energy Agenda
Washington, D.C. – Gas prices, electricity prices and home heating prices have skyrocketed in Washington State. And Joe Biden and Patty Murray are to blame for killing America’s energy independence.
It’s not just at the gas pump where Patty Murray has made things worse. The 30-year incumbent wants to make sure you pay more for energy in your home:
- Higher Home Energy Costs by Phasing Out Natural Gas: Patty would make home energy costs higher, voting to allow local building codes that force property owners to phase out natural gas heating and appliances in favor of more expensive options.
- Higher Electricity Prices for the Poor, EV Tax Credits for the Rich: Patty even voted to allow the federal government to impose a carbon tax – which would hit low-income Washingtonians the hardest – while voting to allow the rich to take tax credits for purchasing electric vehicles.
It doesn’t matter if the poor and middle-class Washingtonians end up being hurt: Patty Murray is hellbent on enacting a costly far-left energy agenda.
