Joe Manchin sure has a short memory! Seems he’s going around announcing his reelection campaign today…three months after the last time he announced his reelection campaign!
You may remember the controversy the last time Manchin announced, all the way back in October, stemming from the fact that he named a lobbyist for fentanyl manufacturer and Epipen price hiker Mylan as his campaign’s senior adviser. Nice try changing the narrative, Joe!
“No matter how many times Joe Manchin announces his reelection campaign, it won’t change the fact that he has completely lost touch with West Virginia,” said NRSC Spokesman Bob Salera. “For the past three months, Manchin’s campaign has been run by an opioid lobbyist, showing clearly where his priorities lie.”
