Now that Joe Manchin and his Democrat pals in Washington failed in their attempt to hijack the Republican primary, ol’ Joe is getting desperate.

In an interview on WJLS yesterday, Manchin admitted that he begged President Trump to stay out of West Virginia until after the election. Such a move may be Manchin’s only shot at survival, given his shrinking base and plummeting job approval numbers after President Trump’s last visit to the Mountain State, where he blasted Joe for voting against his agenda.

“If Joe Manchin didn’t want President Trump to campaign against him, he shouldn’t have voted against the Trump agenda,” said NRSC Spokesman Bob Salera. “While Manchin begs and pleads, West Virginians are ready to replace him with Patrick Morrisey, a conservative fighter who, unlike Manchin, won’t sell them out to liberals in Washington.”
