Washington, D.C. – Val Demings took a shot at Senator Marco Rubio for a recent trip to Iowa while claiming she will “take care of things down here in Florida.” Except Val Demings has been anywhere BUT Florida.
It’s hypocrisy at best coming from Val, who’s been jetting around the country promoting herself to the only people that actually support her candidacy – national liberal activists. Most recently, she was spotted in Martha’s Vineyard.
Nice try, Val.
Statement from NRSC Spokeswoman Priscilla Ivasco: “Val Demings is grasping at straws to attack Marco Rubio. Last week, she attacked him for being right about the disaster caused by a rushed withdrawal from Afghanistan. And now she’s attacking him for attending a party-building event in Iowa, while she jet-sets around the country pitching herself to liberal activists in places like Martha’s Vineyard. Her hypocrisy is only matched by her unyielding loyalty to the party activists and Washington Democrat leaders that are pulling Demings’ strings.”
