In the first Indiana Senate debate, Mexico Joe Donnelly spent his time running from his record and misleading Hoosiers.
Mexico Joe ran from his do-nothing record, despite being named the least effective Democrat in the Senate, and ran from his Anti-Trump record, despite voting against key agenda items including the Trump-Pence tax cuts. Mexico Joe also continued lying to Hoosiers about his reason for voting against Justice Brett Kavanaugh, who he first said he was opposing because an FBI investigation hadn’t been conducted, then shifted his position once an FBI investigation was begun. It’s clear Hoosiers can’t trust Mexico Joe Donnelly.
“Tonight’s debate was a clear illustration of why Hoosiers need to fire Mexico Joe Donnelly and send Mike Braun to the U.S. Senate,” said NRSC Spokesman Bob Salera. “Mexico Joe has done nothing in Washington except serve as a reliable vote for his Democratic Party bosses, and it’s time for him to be retired.”
