Unable to shake criticism for profiting off his family business’s outsourcing, Mexico Joe is now desperately trying to link himself to President Trump.

Despite joining with his fellow Democrats in Washington on issue after issue to block President Trump’s agenda in Congress, Mexico Joe tweeted this morning that he hoped to work with the President to stop outsourcing. Mexico Joe makes no mention of his own family business’s outsourcing, which continues even after Donnelly was caught in the act. If Mexico Joe is sincere about working with the President on jobs, he should start by demanding that his family move their manufacturing operations from Guadalajara to Indiana.

“Mexico Joe has spent his time in Washington blocking President Trump’s pro-American jobs agenda, even while profiting from his own family’s outsourcing,” said NRSC Spokesman Bob Salera. “Hoosiers won’t be fooled by Mexico Joe’s desperate attempts to deflect from his outsourcing hypocrisy.”
