WASHINGTON, D.C. — The National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC) today launched a new digital ad holding Haley Stevens and Abdul El-Sayed accountable for prioritizing taxpayer-funded healthcare for illegal aliens over rural hospital funding.

Republicans passed legislation that slashes waste, fraud, and abuse in America’s healthcare system while investing billions in rural hospitals – and Haley Stevens and Abdul El-Sayed want to repeal it.

“Haley Stevens and Abdul El-Sayed want to repeal billions in funding for rural hospitals and give illegal aliens free healthcare. They will put illegal aliens before rural Michiganders every chance they get,” said NRSC Regional Press Secretary Samantha Cantrell.

VO: “Three rural Michigan hospitals have closed since 2012. Yet, Michigan Democrats criticized efforts to secure hundreds of millions of dollars for rural hospitals.

“Democrats said no.

“No to rural hospitals. No to better healthcare access. No to Michigan families.

“Instead, Michigan Democrats would rather give free healthcare to illegal immigrants with your tax dollars.

“Illegal immigrants first, Michigan last.”
