Michiganders will have more money in their pockets this tax season thanks to President Trump and Senate Republicans passing the largest middle-class tax cut in history. According to IRS data, the Working Families Tax Cuts are saving Americans $2,290 on average this tax season, nearly 11% more than last year. Meanwhile, January inflation cooled to 2.4% year-over-year, beating expectations again.
“President Trump and Senate Republicans are delivering bigger tax refunds and lowering inflation after four years of skyrocketing costs under Democrats’ failed policies,” said NRSC Regional Press Secretary Samantha Cantrell. “While Haley Stevens voted against this historic tax relief, Mike Rogers is committed to helping Michiganders keep more of their hard-earned money and achieve the American dream.”
