WASHINGTON, D.C. — The National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC) released a new digital ad today slamming Michigan Democrat Senate candidates Haley Stevens, Mallory McMorrow, and Abdul El-Sayed for supporting Chuck Schumer’s government shutdown. Federal funding for SNAP benefits is set to run out this Halloween weekend, leaving over 1.4 million Michiganders, including an estimated 572,000 children, without the assistance they need to put food on the table.
“This Halloween, parents will struggle to feed their children, while Haley Stevens, Mallory McMorrow, and Abdul El-Sayed continue to support keeping the government shut down to give illegal aliens free healthcare,” said NRSC Regional Press Secretary Samantha Cantrell.
