Angie Craig is panicking about her messy primary as her public fights with Peggy Flanagan continue to escalate. In her latest sign of desperation, Craig is using rumors of a potential Republican candidate to claim she is the “only … candidate in this race who has taken on Republicans.” The latest attack comes after the two candidates took shots at each other over embracing corporate PAC money and after Flanagan flamed Craig on X over the Laken Riley Act.
“Democrats are in disarray in Minnesota. The brutal primary fight between Chuck Schumer’s hand-picked Angie Craig and progressive Bernie Sanders-backed Peggy Flanagan is only getting messier,” said NRSC Regional Press Secretary Nick Puglia.
