Instead of letting North Dakotans know where she stands on Judge Brett Kavanaugh’s Supreme Court nomination, Heidi Heitkamp continues to hide behind whatever latest stall tactic Chuck Schumer has concocted and voters want nothing to do with it.
Two new polls this week revealed 56% and 60% of North Dakotans want Kavanaugh confirmed.
North Dakota voters have been very clear throughout this process that they overwhelmingly support Judge Kavanaugh’s nomination. And now according to The Hill, Heitkamp is facing a “nightmare scenario on Kavanaugh.”
Will she side with North Dakota voters and President Trump by supporting an eminently qualified jurist? Or will she side with Chuck Schumer and the resistance?
“Despite the disgusting antics of Senate Democrats, North Dakotans continue to resoundingly support President Trump’s Supreme Court nominee,” said NRSC Spokesman Michael McAdams. “Heidi Heitkamp has delayed for long enough and now polling shows if she votes against Judge Kavanaugh, she can wave goodbye to whatever sliver of hope she had of being reelected.”
