Nebraskans will have more money in their pockets this tax season thanks to President Trump and Pete Ricketts passing the largest middle-class tax cut in history. According to IRS data, the Working Families Tax Cuts are saving Americans $2,290 on average this tax season, nearly 11% more than last year. Meanwhile, January inflation cooled to 2.4% year-over-year, beating expectations again.
“President Trump and Pete Ricketts have delivered bigger tax refunds and are working to lower inflation after four years of skyrocketing costs under the Biden-Harris administration,” said NRSC Regional Press Secretary Nick Puglia. “Nebraskans know no one fights harder to cut their taxes than Senator Ricketts, while Dan Osborn has said he would have voted with Democrats to raise taxes.”
