WASHINGTON, D.C. — The National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC) released a new ad today spotlighting recently resurfaced James Talarico social media posts that show how out of touch he is with Texas voters. The video was created in part using artificial intelligence software to visualize Talarico reading his own words and includes an AI disclaimer. The posts include bragging about his office adding pronouns to their business cards, calling white men the greatest domestic terrorist threat to our country, and claiming “God is non-binary.”

“James Talarico is the most radical, woke Democrat Texas voters have ever seen, and voters will reject his extreme statements praising transgenderism, twisting Christian beliefs, and advocating for open borders,” said NRSC Regional Press Secretary Samantha Cantrell.

Transcript:

Voice Over 1: “And now a dramatic reading of James Talarico’s most memorable tweets.”

AI James Talarico: “Oh I remember this one. Radicalized white men are the greatest domestic terrorist threat in our country.”

Voice Over 2: “White men”

AI Talarico: “So true, so true.

“Oh I love this one too! The Texas Capitol can be a hostile environment for our trans neighbors. Our office is the first in the history of the Capitol to add pronouns to our official business cards. It’s a small way to tell trans Texans: you are welcome here.

“Oh this one is touching.

“Over and over Christians used scripture to justify bullying trans kids. I told them in my faith, God is non-binary.”

Voice Over 2: “#txlege”

AI Talarico: “There but for the grace of God go I. As a white man, I’m susceptible to the same radicalization. Thankfully, I was exposed to diversity at a young age and explicitly taught the values of equality, inclusion, and justice. But not every young white boy is so lucky.”

Voice Over 2: “White boy”

AI Talarcio: “Should have been a preacher.

“Oh and best for last!

“This video brings back memories of being the only teenage boy at Planned Parenthood’s March for Women’s Lives in 2004.”

Voice Over 1: “And that concludes our dramatic reading of James Talarico’s most memorable tweets.”
