The NRSC released a new digital ad reminding West Virginia voters that Democrats have promised to repeal the bigger paychecks, wage increases, new job opportunities and employee bonuses that are happening because of Republican tax reform.
Despite having the opportunity to let middle-class families keep more of their hard-earned money, Senator Joe Manchin rejected the tax cuts to stand with his out of touch Democratic Party bosses. The new digital ad will lay out the benefits folks are seeing as a result of the tax cuts, and the threat Joe Manchin’s push to repeal the tax cuts poses to West Virginians’ new economic opportunities.
The 15-second Facebook ad and 6-second YouTube bumper ad are part of a five-figure buy.
“Not only did Joe Manchin vote against the GOP tax cuts responsible for bigger paychecks, new job opportunities and higher wages, but West Virginians now must worry about Manchin repealing their new economic benefits,” said NRSC Spokesman Bob Salera. “It’s clear folks in West Virginia can’t afford to reelect Senator Manchin and won’t stand for his plan to take away the extra cash in their pockets.”
