Ahead of President Trump’s State of the Union, the NRSC is launching a new digital ad highlighting Bill Nelson’s record of voting against the President’s policies.
The 15 second auto-play Facebook ad will run in Florida and show voters the extreme measures Bill Nelson has taken to oppose President Trump. Though Nelson claims to be moderate and represents a state President Trump carried in 2016, his record of voting against the President 74% of the time tells a completely different story.

“It’s important Floridians know that Bill Nelson has gone out of his way to oppose President Trump’s agenda,” said NRSC Communications Director Katie Martin. “By voting against the President, Bill Nelson has voted against the will of Florida voters to follow the far-left agenda of Washington liberals.”
