The NRSC is releasing a new series of ads reminding red state voters of their Democrat Senator’s unwavering support for failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.
The digital ads feature Hillary Clinton’s recent comments in India where she called voters in middle-America “backwards,” as well as her infamous “basket of deplorables” remarks. The ads then go on to highlight remarks by each Senator supporting Clinton’s campaign against President Trump.

“Red State Democrats stuck by Hillary Clinton even as she insulted their constituents on her way to losing the 2016 election,” said NRSC Communications Director Katie Martin. “Democrats may wish that Clinton would go away quietly, but her continued rhetoric condemning Americans who dared to vote against her will serve as an ongoing reminder that Red State Democrats supported her no matter how badly she disparaged voters in their states.”
