The video traces Murphy’s not-quite-humble beginnings as the son of a South Florida real estate tycoon, through his youth attending polo matches at the family compound on exclusive Fisher Island, all the way to his election to Congress thanks to a massive contribution from his wealthy father.

Now Privileged Patrick is looking for a promotion and Daddy Murphy has opened the checkbook up again, backing his son’s campaign to the tune of half a million dollars – so far. When Privileged Patrick talks about the struggles of working Floridians, be sure to ask him about boarding school.

The paid digital campaign will run on social networks in Florida, including Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube. CLICK HERE TO WATCH.

Born the son of a South Florida real estate tycoon, Privileged Patrick has lived his life high on the family fortune.

Privileged Patrick lived in a house with a moat, attended polo matches, and attended an elite northeast boarding school.

Privileged Patrick was lured back to Florida by his Daddy’s trust fund and a job at the family company – which he got while the business was laying off thousands of workers. Naturally, he became a permanent fixture on the hot Miami Beach club scene.

But even popping bottles can get old– especially after your drunken debauchery gets you arrested.

After an especially epic night of partying, Privileged Patrick was thrown out of a club for fighting. Covered in alcohol and unable to stand, he was arrested after screaming expletives at a police officer.

But wealthy and well-connected Patrick got off the hook – and his father stroked a campaign check to the State’s Attorney who dropped the charges.

With more experience partying than legislating, Privileged Patrick ran for Congress at 28 – but he didn’t do it on his own.

Patrick’s daddy cashed in over a half million dollars to get him elected in 2012.

Daddy’s help was just barely enough to push him across the finish line.

Now at the age of 33 Privileged Patrick is eager to move up again, this time in the U.S. Senate.

Daddy Murphy and his donor friends will try to use the same big-money playbook that got Patrick Murphy elected to Congress.

But Florida’s U.S. Senate seat isn’t for sale.
