Kaamil Omar Sallah, a fraudster indicted and charged for defrauding Medicaid for approximately $1.3 million, was recently arrested at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport after fleeing the country.
Sallah’s scheme occurred under Peggy Flanagan’s de facto reign as Governor of Minnesota while Tim Walz was gallivanting around the country for his failed Vice Presidential bid.
Reminder: At least $9 billion in fraud occurred under Flanagan’s watch. New reporting from the Star Tribune reveals the Walz-Flanagan Administration turned a blind eye to multiple red flags.
“Instead of taking accountability for allowing billions in fraud, Peggy Flanagan is appeasing fraudsters, fighting for higher taxes to line the pockets of criminals who steal benefits from Minnesotans who need them,” said NRSC Regional Press Secretary Nick Puglia.
