New Hampshire’s anti-sanctuary cities law went into effect this month and Chris Pappas has still refused to comment on the measure.
Republican leadership is cracking down on violent illegal aliens, yet Chris Pappas has voted to let them walk free. In fact, he voted against a bill in the House of Representatives cracking down on sanctuary cities.
“Chris Pappas is wildly out of touch with Granite Staters,” said NRSC Regional Press Secretary Samantha Cantrell. “While Republicans in Washington and New Hampshire are working to crack down on illegal immigration and keep communities safe, Chris Pappas is pushing his radical, open-borders agenda on New Hampshire.”
Chris Pappas is a rubber-stamp for Democrats radical open border agenda:
- Pappas voted against the Working Family Tax Cuts, which made the largest investment in border security in American history.
- Pappas voted against a measure preventing illegal immigrant gang members from receiving taxpayer-funded benefits.
- Pappas voted against hiring more Border Patrol agents and even voted for amnesty that gives millions of illegal immigrants a pathway to citizenship
- Pappas voted against requiring photo ID to vote and against verifying citizenship for voter registration in federal elections.
- Pappas voted to protect sanctuary cities and failed to support a bill cracking down on them.
- Pappas is weak on the border, saying, “I don’t think a big concrete wall the entire length of our southern border makes any sense.”
