WASHINGTON, D.C. — The National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC) released a new digital ad today slamming Chris Pappas and Chuck Schumer for voting to shut down the government. Federal funding for SNAP benefits is set to run out this Halloween weekend, leaving around 76,000 Granite Staters, including an estimated 29,000 children, without the assistance they need to put food on the table.

“This Halloween, parents will struggle to feed their children, while Chris Pappas and Chuck Schumer continue to keep the government shut down in their ridiculous effort to give illegal aliens free healthcare,” said NRSC Regional Press Secretary Samantha Cantrell.
