WASHINGTON, D.C. — The National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC) released a new ad today exposing Janet Mills’ fight supporting men who want to compete in women’s sports and providing minors with transgender treatments that enrich her own family. Janet Mills’ sister, Dora, is the Chief Health Improvement Officer at MaineHealth, the largest provider of dangerous transgender treatments for minors in Maine.

“If Janet Mills and her family had their way, men would compete in women’s sports, use their bathrooms, and children would receive transgender treatments behind their parents’ backs,” said NRSC Regional Press Secretary Samantha Cantrell.

Janet Mills is pushing radical transgender policies on Mainers to enrich her family:

  • Janet Mills fought to keep men in women’s sports, regardless of the fact that the majority of Mainers are against it.
  • Mills has fought to protect dangerous transgender treatments for minors that profit her family.
    • Mills signed a law that allows minors to take estrogen without their parents’ knowledge.
    • Mills signed a law that makes Maine a sanctuary state for doctors who perform transgender surgeries on minors.
  • Mills enriched her family and Maine’s transgender lobby by supporting dangerous and lucrative transgender treatments at the expense of Maine kids.
