New NRSC Ad Ties Democratic Senate Candidates to Their Party’s Extreme Platform

Washington, D.C. – The NRSC today launched a digital ad campaign tying Democrats Doug Jones, Jeanne Shaheen, Mark Kelly, and Gary Peters to the “most progressive platform in the history of the Democratic Party.” The digital video ads will run on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and Twitter in Alabama, New Hampshire, Arizona, and Michigan.

The new NRSC video features Democratic Party leaders Nancy Pelosi, Kirsten Gillibrand, Kamala Harris, Elizabeth Warren, Bernie Sanders and Joe Biden touting extreme policies like ending private insurance, Green New Deal, raising taxes, and socialism.

“The extremely progressive agenda being promoted by the Democratic Party’s presidential candidates will make life difficult for Senate Democrats running in 2020,” said NRSC Communications Director Jesse Hunt. “The promise of crippling tax increases, the end of private health insurance, and a lurch toward socialism is a surefire way to alienate every mainstream voter in America.”
