Senate Democrat Incumbents and Candidates are on the Wrong Side of this Issue

Washington, D.C. – A new Washington Post-University of Maryland poll shows overwhelming opposition to allowing biological men to compete in women’s sports. 58% of Americans oppose biological men competing in women’s sports at the professional and college level. 55% oppose it at the high school level.

This poll is similar to the findings of a NRSC poll conducted last year that found 67% of voters opposed biological men in women’s sports and only 24% in favor. But it’s the exact opposite of where Senate Democrat incumbents and candidates stand on this issue.

Bernie Sanders’ favorite Senate candidate John Fetterman said he believes biological men should be allowed to compete in women’s sports at the youth through college level. Last year, Senate Democrats voted UNANIMOUSLY to allow biological men to compete in women’s sports.

Senate Democrats’ stance on this issue is clearly way too radical for Americans. High school and college female athletes dedicate thousands of hours to their sports with the hopes of one day competing at the next level.

Senate Democrats’ want to allow biological males – who have an unfair physical advantage – to compete in women’s sports and take away opportunities from female athletes across the country. This radical position is deeply unpopular because it would destroy women’s sports as we know it.
