A new poll shows Michele Tafoya far in the lead with strong support from Minnesota Republicans. The survey was conducted from January 31 to February 1, 2026 among likely Republican primary voters and has a margin of error of 4%. View the memo from the pollster here and the survey here.
- 41% of respondents said they would vote for Tafoya to be the Republican nominee if the election was today. No other candidate broke 14%.
- Tafoya’s support is widespread, leading the field across Republicans’ ideological spectrum.
- Tafoya leads across the state and in every Congressional district.
“Minnesota Republicans are fired up to vote for Michele Tafoya and send her to the U.S. Senate. Tafoya is the only candidate who puts Minnesota in play for Republicans in 2026,” said NRSC Regional Press Secretary Nick Puglia.
