Washington, D.C. – Joe Biden’s sinking approval rating is dragging down vulnerable Senate Democrats. In a new ABC News/Washington Post poll, Biden’s approval rating in states with competitive Senate races is 10 points lower than the national average, which is already significantly underwater.
Even worse for vulnerable Senate Democrats, registered voters in these states back Republican candidates in the generic ballot by a 23-point margin. That’s 16 points higher than the rest of the states and 10 points higher than the national average.
Biden’s national approval rating is already low, but it’s even lower in states like Georgia, Nevada, New Hampshire, and Arizona.
Voters in these states have buyers’ remorse. They elected Senators to be independent voices and represent their interests in Washington. Instead, these so-called “moderate” Senators are a rubber stamp for Joe Biden’s far-left agenda that rewards deep blue states like Schumer’s New York and Pelosi’s California.
Senators Mark Kelly, Catherine Cortez Masto, Maggie Hassan, and Raphael Warnock should be worried. They have done nothing but put the interests of Chuck Schumer and Joe Biden before the interests of the people they represent. And voters aren’t happy about that.
