Washington, D.C. – The National Republican Senatorial Committee heads to Georgia this week for a special episode of the Primary Watch series. This week’s episode takes a closer look at the Georgia special election, and how it is NOT a primary.

There has been some confusion around Georgia’s special election law, the November jungle general election, and there being no senate primary. This week’s episode has the latest in the Georgia special election, updates on new conservative endorsements for Senator Kelly Loeffler, and an overview of what is at stake in the November jungle general election.

REMINDER: In the other Georgia U.S. Senate race, there is a nasty primary unfolding between Jon Ossoff, Teresa Tomlinson, and Sara Riggs Amico. This week, Tomlinson took the gloves off and has started hitting Jon Ossoff for his lack of experience. Stay tuned as the NRSC will have an episode of the Primary Watch in the coming weeks about the Georgia Democrats looking to face off against Senator David Perdue.
