And voters took notice. The 8 News Now post-debate focus group decisively gave the win to Dr. Heck, as undecided voters declared him the victor by a 10-1 margin. (Cortez Masto squeaked out a third place finish, right behind ‘tied.’)
When asked which candidate voters found more trustworthy, the focus group again chose Dr. Heck by an 11-1 margin. (Cortez Masto came in tied for second this time, sharing the position with ‘other.’)
And according to the moderator: “All of you reacted very well to Dr. Joe Heck. Not so much to Catherine Cortez Masto.” Meanwhile, on the critical issue of reforming the healthcare system and fixing Obamacare, it was a clean sweep. Every single panelist declared Dr. Heck, a combat surgeon and emergency physician, had the better answer:

There was one candidate on the debate stage last night that laid out a clear plan for how he will work on behalf of Nevada families. And there was one candidate that flopped, with no solutions and no agenda other than continuing Harry Reid’s legacy of rank partisanship.
Voters spoke, and the verdict wasn’t even close: Joe Heck won last night’s debate walking away.
