That didn’t take long. Bill Nelson is now desperately trying to back pedal from his support of socialist and scandal-ridden Andrew Gillum.
But less than two weeks ago, Bill Nelson fell all over himself heaping praise on the radical candidate and refuting the idea that Gillum’s positions are too far left for Florida, saying, “You look at his positions, they’re mainstream… go through all the issues and I think that’s where the people of Florida are.”
And proudly proclaimed, “All those things Rick Scott has done in the last eight years, we are going to undo with Andrew Gillum.”
Make no mistake, Nelson stands with Gillum’s socialist agenda that will ruin Florida’s economy, raise taxes, and hurt families. He said so himself.
“Nelson’s desperate backtracking from his support of socialist Andrew Gillum isn’t fooling anyone,” said Camille Gallo, NRSC Spokesperson. “Floridians know that Bill Nelson will work with Andrew Gillum to take Florida in a dangerous direction and stand ready to reject their radical agenda and elect Rick Scott in November.”
