If you were wondering why Sleepin’ Joe Donnelly would sell out his constituents by voting against Judge Brett Kavanaugh, a new fundraising email might provide a clue.
National Journal reports that Kamala Harris, one of the ringleaders of the circus Senate Dems created around Judge Kavanaugh’s confirmation process, sent out a fundraising email titled “re: Kavanaugh’s nomination,” and asking supporters to send a donation to Sleepin’ Joe’s campaign. This shameless fundraising pitch comes just a day after Sleepin’ Joe admitted he lied about the initial reason he gave for why he was opposing President Trump’s nominee. Guess campaign cash is more important to Sleepin’ Joe than being honest with Hoosiers.
“Sleepin’ Joe Donnelly has gone full resistance, shamefully raising campaign money off of his vote against Judge Brett Kavanaugh,” said NRSC Spokesman Bob Salera. “Sleepin’ Joe’s vote was always about politics – nothing more and nothing less.”
