As her Senate Democrat colleagues threaten to filibuster Judge Neil Gorsuch, Heidi Heitkamp has still not told North Dakota voters whether she will support or oppose his confirmation to the Supreme Court.
A new paid billboard and digital campaign from the NRSC will encourage North Dakotans to tell Heidi Heitkamp to stand up for them and vote to confirm Judge Gorsuch, instead of joining in the obstructionism of Washington liberals. The NRSC campaign, the committee’s first paid effort in North Dakota for the 2018 cycle, will include billboards in Bismarck and an aggressive digital campaign in Fargo and Mandan. This campaign is part of an aggressive national paid media campaign targeting Red State Senate Democrats.
“North Dakotans were clear last November that they want a new direction in Washington,” said NRSC Communications Director Katie Martin. “If Heidi Heitkamp can’t put her state ahead of partisan politics and vote to confirm Judge Gorsuch, North Dakota voters will replace her with someone who will put their interests first.”
